Before I decided to ever read the book, I saw the trailer and decided I wanted to read it. It turned out to be not one of these lovey-dovy stories like Twilight or Romeo and Juliet but one of those books that did have a romance that was real and felt as though it had an element of serilaty. I personally thought that it had its moments of funniness and sadness. Especially near the end when Gua had passed away from his hard fought battle with his cancer. I knew how it felt to be Hazel after Gus had passed because my grandparents on my dads side had passed away in 2014 and even thoug I wasn't close to them, it was hard watching my father go through the rough times.
Until next time,
Emma
