Admit it, we've all been a victim to staying up till 1am to finish our favorite book. It's no surprise that I'd end up reading till 1 or 2am on a school night and not get any rest for a midterm exam at the end of the semester for a class (and even an end of year exam, too) or even be talking to my cat, who I'm sure she thinks that I must be crazy for getting so in tune with the book that I'm reading that she gives me weird looks at midnight when I'm reading an intense scene in Harry Potter. Not to worry, though, because Miss Coco Lane (yes, my cat) has gotten used to some of my shenanigans about babbling on about what has happened after I've finished a Harry Potter book, talking about how it should've been Caleb instead of Tris in Allegiant (no worries Divergent Initiates who haven't yet gotten to the 3rd book yet, I'm giving no more spoilers on the subject matter), how Augustus Waters was a sad tragic in The Fault in Our Stars and how it reminded me about a fellow classmate that passed not from cancer, but from an aneurysm and whom I've grown up with since kindergarten (#AlbinoWarrior), etc. And all of that is at midnight or in the wee hours of the morning on a Friday night before I get knocked out from sleepiness and sleep till 1pm the next day. As I write with Coco laying on one of my arms, I am grateful for having her be a part of my life to talk about what happens after my favorite book ends and what might happen in the next book, or even share my emotions with her on a tragic ending of a book. Well, off to reading till the sun comes up!
